Recruitment Week!

We were all really excited about fall recruitment, to say the least. Many sisters had been coming up with ideas and collaborating for the fall DURING the summer! Our theme was “Divergent: One choice could transform you”, based on the book and movie series. It was our intention to illustrate that the characteristics of a Christian woman embodies the same qualities of the Divergent; we are kind, intelligent, brave, selfless and honest. Each day we represented each of these characteristic, and played several different games to get to know the potential candidates. One of the days we played capture the flag to portray bravery and courage. Then we all came back together for a bible study on fearlessness in Christ. Afterwards two of our musically gifted sisters led us in a wonderful worship night! This was ranked as everyone’s favorite night! The potential candidates that came were extremely lovely and regularly attended each night! Everyone hit it off really well; there was laughter throughout the room and smiles on all the faces. It was so exciting to see how God blessed us with a large amount of interest! Every night I heard a sister say she was happy and at peace with the turn out of the event which just makes my heart smile!
